Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded size are the most important aspects to take into consideration. When you are not using it, select an infant stroller that is easy to maneuver and small in size. This will make it easier to store in your car trunk and navigate through airport security and foreign roads.
The most lightweight strollers feature an easy, intuitive fold that allows them to stand on their own. This helps reduce stress on the body of the parent. Many strollers come with different seating options and some can even accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families who are constantly on moving. Compact and light weight, it has an easy one-handed fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats will accommodate children as heavy as 50 lbs. The tray for parents and children as well as a large storage bin and a 3-tiered canopy with the peekaboo window offer maximum sun protection.
The Cloud has one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to a flimsy feel with hard plastic seats, and a design that seems dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This is a bad choice for those looking for the cheapest option.
It's not the lightest stroller but it comes with enough features to be worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to navigate on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with ease unlike many other light strollers that drift off course when trying to do the similar thing. The Cloud's low, nearly knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's difficult to push it while your legs are hanging like that. The lack of padding does not make it any easier.
During our testing, we found the Cloud to be simple to set up and open. It's a little more challenging to close, however. You need to slide a slider before you push a large white button for it to collapse. This can be frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that will accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud comes with an adult and child tray with two cup holders however they're both too narrow to accommodate larger bottles or cups.
The Kolcraft brand has been in existence since 1946, and is a third-generation, family-owned company. They began by making diapers and crib pads and now they produce several baby products, such as highchairs and infant car seats. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's perfect for travel. It's extremely light at 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) and it folds flat for easy transportation and storage. It also has independently reclining seats, as well as large SPF50 sunvisors with a peekaboo view. The visors can be adjusted to fit children of different heights. It also has a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized approved.
Jeep's swivel wheel system is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats so your kids should be at least 6 months old and have solid neck control to ride in the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, though and each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for parents.
Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with luxurious details that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very movable and fits into airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold, ultralight double stroller. It's pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have a few key distinctions. It's also a little more expensive, but it offers better maneuverability and has a larger sun canopy. It comes with a handy carrying strap and can accommodate children who weigh up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
If you're seeking a stroller which is lightweight but also loaded with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also comes with a ton of storage, including child and parent cupholders and a sippy-cup bag for the child, a parent's storage pocket and more. This stroller can also be used with a child's chair and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that can be easily engaged. It's designed to adapt to your child from a newborn stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
This stroller has only swivel-wheels and has no locking capabilities and therefore may not be the best choice for rocky or steep terrain. It is able to maneuver well on pavements, as well as other smooth surfaces it's a great choice for most families.
This is among the most compact and lightweight double strollers that comes with full-size features. It folds easily by one hand and then stored in the trunk or garage. It can be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible without adapters for most car seats.
Contrary to the majority of lightweight strollers like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats that can accommodate up to 50 lbs. per seat (100 pounds total). The seats feature individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopy that has an open-top sunvisor and a peekaboo window.
double pushchair are cushioned for your infant's comfort. They come with a padded 5-point safety harness that adjusts to three different heights. Each seat has an infant cushion that is ideal for newborns. Parents will appreciate the cup holders for parents and children, along with the child's cup holders, the cell phone holder, and large storage basket. The stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents who want a lightweight double stroller that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, which allows children to be seated side-by-side. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat, which is a great option for napping. Its recline feature is simple to use, but it's not a perfect flat. Taller children may have a leg hanging in the reclined position. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out the sun than other options in our review of the top double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to navigate through door frames, which was a major problem for us with other strollers we tested. It is easy to fold and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only drawback is its relatively small storage space, which feels uncomfortable when filled with kid stuff.

Joovy, a family-owned business is a pioneer in the design of functional, innovative and high-quality baby products. Their range includes innovative bottles in our top baby bottle review, intriguing strollers like the Joovy Zoom X2 Double and a unique rain cover that is compatible with various popular strollers. The bottles are reasonably priced and often have fun designs that are appealing to children.
In our tests on double strollers, we look at several factors to determine how easy an item is to use, such as the ease of use to set up and fold and adjust the safety harness and close and open the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if placing it into a car trunk, and then install and remove the infant car seat (if appropriate). We also evaluated the durability and strength and also whether each product has an adult tray that can be used by both children.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program for its ease of use. It also earned the highest score in our most recent guide to the top double strollers. Its easy-to use design includes a one hand, zero tilt recline and an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that you can see through even when it's tilted. There are also separate tray for kids, cup holders built-in and zipper pockets for parents and a large storage basket.
